the difference between our products

Check out the following images from the jeffords wedding and creative sessions. I'm always trying to communicate more clearly about the differences in our products and I think the easiest way is to show you, rather that trying to explain. When it comes to art, visual aides rock!

The first two images below, are creative session images. Notice the "higher fashion feel", and moody lighting that each of these images have.

Think of the difference between our creative session and wedding day session like this:
The creative session is more along the lines of a cover shoot, whereas the wedding day, is like trying to catch a subway train that's already leaving without you!

The outside images in this post are from the wedding day. They are still taken creatively and have that a great flare about them, but I think you'll see they're not the same look and feel our creative session product.

I've sandwhiched the wedding photos between the creative session photos, to help you see these differences is greater contrast. Just to clarify, you can find the creative session samples at both the beginning and end of this post.

When you dream of booking with us!
If you're interested in our services, study the differences in the photos below to see the unique differences between our products.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions. We'd be happy to help and clarify anything we can. You can email us at photos@getzcreative.com. or call at 864-354-2548

thoughts on creativity...

Creativity is a beautiful part of the human experience. It's a gift I never want to take for granted and yet sometimes I do. Isn't it normal for us to give little thought to the subtle changes in the sky; the shapes and their swooshes, the color shifts occurring from morning to mid-day, to yet another twilight? I use the sky as reference b/c it's something so large and seemingly so "close to us", such as the talents each of us possess. And yet we can easily give them no thought as the rest of day is filled with seemingly "more important matters".

If nothing else, try and remember that this "pull for our thoughts", away from the wonder right in front of us.

I believe the pull is good. It's the contrast we need to give both sides of our life more clarity; allowing us to see where edges blur and graduate into something different. If I am to be perfectly honest, I often find myself wishing that life were one sided. I am attracted to life in a certain way, and have a vision to how that should look. But if I really got what I thought I wanted, I think it would be a disservice to my growth and enjoyment of life. How can we enjoy the stars without darkness, and how can feel the warmth of the sun without the light? This pull, this contrast helps us as humans. I urge you to embrace it; take the good with the bad, so that you may be able to enjoy the good in an even deeper fashion.

wonder today.... be fuller today

I love what we do. And I wish others to enjoy our images as well. But almost more than that, I hope our images will inspire each of you to find a creative space in your day to think differently; to wonder. Wonder can become a child's pastime and a lost art. It is something that, I believe, keeps us feeling alive and gives us the freedom to feel fuller with each day, even in it's routine. I will admit, I can be bogged down with the "routine" like anyone else, and I seek inspiration in others often; whether it be from an author, an illustrator, or even other photographers.

I believe we should all strive to be more rounded. I'm not saying we should deny the fact we each have gifts and leanings in certain areas, such as analytic vs' creative, I'm saying that whichever way we lean, we should strive to "cross-over", seeking new ground and inspiration to add to the fullness of our lives.

The images below are some of my favorites from the stanley wedding we recently had the joy of shooting. "Creatives" themselves, we felt at home as we infused their wedding with as much creativity as possibly. We strive to do this with each and every shoot, and I hope future couples looking for a photographer can see the passion and "wonder" we strive to fill our sessions with.

live. inspire. create something.

SPECIAL: What is our Creative Session? (the stanley session)

ONE OF OUR FAV SHOOTS!
It's hard to say which shoot is our favorite, but in the top contenders I'd say it is our CREATIVE SESSION product. The CREATIVE SESSION differs from our other shoots, in that we dress the couple in their wedding garb and act as if we are doing a cover shoot for one of the top magazines. There's less stress present than is on your typical wedding day, and we have the opportunity to inspire using various textures, "artsy locations" and even creative makeup & hairstyling.

This is an example of what you can expect when you order a CREATIVE SESSION with us. Each session takes on a life of it's own and differs, even when using similar ideas and locations.

IT'S NEVER TOO LATE FOR YOUR CREATIVE SESSION!
Even if you've already had your wedding pictures taken, or have booked a photographer for your wedding, we'd love to shoot a CREATIVE SESSION for you. CREATIVE SESSIONS can be done anytime, and anywhere. Come and see for yourself what everyone is raving about!
