SPECIAL: What is our Creative Session? (the stanley session)

ONE OF OUR FAV SHOOTS!
It's hard to say which shoot is our favorite, but in the top contenders I'd say it is our CREATIVE SESSION product. The CREATIVE SESSION differs from our other shoots, in that we dress the couple in their wedding garb and act as if we are doing a cover shoot for one of the top magazines. There's less stress present than is on your typical wedding day, and we have the opportunity to inspire using various textures, "artsy locations" and even creative makeup & hairstyling.

This is an example of what you can expect when you order a CREATIVE SESSION with us. Each session takes on a life of it's own and differs, even when using similar ideas and locations.

IT'S NEVER TOO LATE FOR YOUR CREATIVE SESSION!
Even if you've already had your wedding pictures taken, or have booked a photographer for your wedding, we'd love to shoot a CREATIVE SESSION for you. CREATIVE SESSIONS can be done anytime, and anywhere. Come and see for yourself what everyone is raving about!

When I was choosing a photographer for my wedding, I fell in love with the pictures and emotions Getz had captured when I was scanning through pictures on their website. After I met with them and heard about all the different options available between the Get To Know you Session, Wedding Day and Creative Session, I remembered thinking why would I want the creative session when it wasnt on the actual wedding day?? However, now that I have my albums, I am so glad we had taken advantage of that photo shoot. As much as I loved my pictures from my wedding day you are still stressed as a bride and torn in many different directions. I love the pictures of my husband and I taken during our creative session and enjoyed being in a relaxed atmosphere and having some non traditional wedding pictures of my husband and I. I also get the most compliments on the pictures taken at the creative session -- I highly recommend taking advantage of Getz's creative ability in this shoot!

I absolutely loved our Creative Session with Getz! We live in Columbia but got married in Greenville and had all of our vendors there, and making it back up for day of our Creative Session after our wedding was hectic, I admit, but *totally* worth it. Not only was the day like a mini-vacation as we were taken around to different sites in the Gville area chosen specifically with us in mind, but we have some priceless memories from that day as well: my husband's tennis shoes showing in several of our images, for instance, since he forgot his dress shoes, and TJ trying so hard to get the "rain" just right in our studio shots-- just to name a few things. And our images from that day complement our GTKY and wedding day shots SO well. I can't imagine not having them as part of our complete our wedding "set!"

Working with Getz for our wedding picture experience was one of the best choices we made regarding our wedding, and having them do all three sessions was definitely the right decision. We have beautiful "story" albums that include fun shots, and some fantastic memories to show for it! Thanks, GetzGuys. :) Much love!

Erin and I looked all over for photographers, and when we saw a friend's wedding shots, done by the Getzs, we looked no more. The creative session is really a neat part of the wedding, and no wedding session should go without it. Since the creative session takes place after the wedding, you have gotten to know the photographers, you're comfortable with how they work, and the stress of planning a wedding is over. That's when you can really look your best, for posterity's sake :-)

my husband and i decided that the best way to remember our wedding was lots and lots of pictures. however, the thought of standing for hours after our ceremony with a plastic smile on my face, upsetting my guests for taking a long time to greet them, really was daunting. getz creative's response to that is the creative session. not are you getting individual works of art in every picture, but you circumvent the pain and angst created in the "post wedding shots". working with tj, michelle was the best decision we ever made. all of our sessions went seamlessly, and we felt like superstars. the creative session was especially relaxing. we had ours a month after we got married (i was worried i wouldn't fit in my dress!) and we had all the time to let tj wax creative with no pressures of time constraint. my photos from the ceremony and the "getting to know you" session were amazing, but the quality and the insane brilliancy of the creative session were what tied the whole album together. we not only got fantastic photos that we can be proud to display as art, but we made lifelong friends in tj and michelle!
