foodie time!

It's foodie time again, and I have more delicious images to share. No, I did not have any cake this year, and I've said "no" to the tasty butter-made entree's as well. I'm getting ready for our beach vacation later this year, and trying to look lean for the wife :) But from what my assistant tells me, the food was awesome!

Further down in this post, I move from food to interior images of some of the resturants we did this year. From unique balloon laterns, to modern clean lines and design, we have a selection of places with very distinct feels. It's always fun to see the vision of a business owner and how the same industry can translate their dreams into such a myriad of themes.

The last two images on this post are of the same room. For one shot, I used the glass doors as a design element, for the other I opened the doors. The only thing that bugs me, is the tripod legs you can see from my tripod as I was shooting it. Normally, I'd have taken the legs out, but the speed in which this project is being done, kept me from finalizing ever last iota of design I would have desired. I don't know which images they will choose to incorporate into this year's guide, but if they do use that one, hopefully I can go back and finesse it a bit.

Beth,

That beautiful cake is from Brick City Cafe off of August st, across from the new Greenville Drive Stadium.

They also have a decadent chocolate bunt cake (not pictured above) that when heated slightly, pools chocolate in the center hole of the cake; my mouth waters just thinking about it!
